Wedding Weekend

Thursday 9.21.23 – SUNDAY 9.24.23

Sips 'n Bites

The Valley is filled with wonderful shops, activities and food all of which are truly special to us. Here are a few of our favorite things.
Coffee at Maudes (the bride and grooms favorite, coffee AND vintage clothes!) or Starbucks. If you forgo the Limelight morning selection, we also love breakfast at The Kneadery.
Some of the best lunch can be had at Grumpy’s (randomly a bangin’ corn dog!) or Lefty’s (focus on the elk burger here) or Apples (don’t overlook the Seared Ahi Salad…or the specials…or the, honestly everything is so good). Grab a sandwich or salad at Wrapcity or Big Wood Bread (please note that there are two locations. Check times/location).
If Leroy’s Ice Cream is open (right in town square) go for it! Or hop on a Limelight Shuttle or city bus to Sun Valley (you are living in Ketchum, tis confusing) and head on over to A La Mode and The Chocolate Foundry … you’re welcome.
Enjoy the sunset with the best wine the Valley has to offer at Scout. Sit outside and order everything on the menu. You won't be disappointed.
Sit at the bar and stay for hours, sipping on a martini at Michel’s Christiania. This French upscale restaurant gives serious chalet vibes while serving insanely decadent food.
Craving that Idaho Potato fix!? Head over to the famous Pioneer Saloon for everything, but don’t play yourself - get a steak or shrimp and a potato. If you’re really looking to go wild, order the “Jim Spud”! Already jealous.
Hop on a city bus or shuttle (front desk will have details) if you are looking for more touristy things in Sun Valley proper. This is where you can ice skate and walk around Sun Valley Village - we suggest listening to the piano at the Duchin Lounge (snacking on tempura green beans) and grabbing coffee, pastries or some schnitzel at Konditorei.
