The Weekend

Thank you for being a part of our wedding weekend! We are ever so grateful you're coming all this way. Sun Valley is where we fell in love, and we couldn't be more excited to share this special place with you.

More details to come but we expect to have a lot of wonderful events during the day and night, and encourage you to arrive by Thursday (some folks are taking vacation here all week!). Whatever your schedule allows, we can't wait for all of us to be together! Because Idaho has recently become a more popular fall destination, we recommend booking your Travel & Lodging as soon as possible.

We cannot wait to celebrate with you in September!

Thursday, Sept 21st

Wedding Welcome Party!

The Covey 8pm - 10pm 520 Washington Ave, Ketchum, ID 83340

Cocktails provided *be sure to eat beforehand* - Check out Activities, Snacks and More page for suggestions! Reservations recommended.

Attire: Cocktail. Be sure to bring an extra layer for when the sun goes down. The evening will be outdoors.

Friday, Sept 22nd

Wedding Day!

Wedding Day… so this is ‘fend for yourself’ kind of afternoon!

Transport to Wedding - Limelight pickup. Please avoid driving.

*Sun Valley patrol is very strict. Using the shuttle is encouraged. Multiple shuttles will go to and from. Schedule to be updated as we get closer.

5pm

Wedding Ceremony (Trail Creek Cabin)

300 Trail Creek Cabin Rd, Sun Valley, ID 83353

Wedding Attire: Formal (not black tie). Men in suits, women in formal dresses.

Be sure to bring an extra layer for when the sun goes down.

Wedding Reception (you guessed it, Trail Creek Cabin)

Saturday, Sept 23rd

Hike with the Bride’s Friends - Taylor Davies & Caroline Wright (your Sun Valley resident tour guide) !!

Meet Taylor and Caroline in the lobby of Limelight for a fun hour or so long hike. The bride may or may not be there, because she hates hiking… and she is typing this, so yeah.

10am

Bike, Fish, Golf, Tennis, Sight See, Sleep more, hang poolside at the hotel! Idaho is magical. Enjoy it. Scroll down for ideas and links etc.

Transport Shuttles Pick up at Limelight. You can drive there, but we really encourage hitching a ride on our shuttle as the road is busy and can be dangerous. Additionally, the ground is very uneven for parking.

There will be transport from Limelight at 5pm. You can drive there, but we’d suggest hitching a ride as the road is busy and can be dangerous. Less than a 3 min bus ride from Limelight to Reinheimer.

Attire: Cowboy Cocktail Chic, YeeHaw!!
Embrace the Great American West with your Western wear. Think Western Vogue & Old Sun Valley Chic... there is nothing too dramatic, fabulous or ridiculous in this category. Fringe. Feathers. Leather. Fo-Fur. Lace. Hats. Boots. Chaps. Spurs. It's all fair game. And when you think it's "too much", add another accessory. The evening will be "cocktail attire", but on a ranch…at a fashion show. Go Wild!! With tall grass and uneven ground, boots or covered shoes are encouraged. Be sure to bring an extra layer for when the sun goes down.
